Business Development Director - Falls Church, Virginia

Responsibilities:

The Director will work in a teamwork environment with other staff under the supervision of the Executive Director of Business Development of the Pragma Corporation. The manager’s responsibility will be to develop new business, primarily in Economic Growth, from donors, primarily USAID.

Specific responsibilities include:

Identify, advise, network, and strategize on new business development
Support marketing collateral development and conference/event opportunities
Assist with the business operation as necessary including project administration and recruitment of consultants

Qualifications:

Ten to fifteen years business development experience with USAID/other international donors
Three to five years experience working for USAID, or other donor, contractor in financial sector, agribusiness, enterprise development, or trade
Must be able to work under tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
An MA, MBA, or MPA in international development, international affairs, or international business is preferred

Travel:
International travel of up to 35% may be required
